(SCENE 1)
(Curtain opens)
          Margret: Am I looking charming?
[It’s evening of about 6 o’clock. A Room in Days Inn hotel in Candvania Street. The room is luxuriously and artistically furnished, in the middle of room stood a mogul lamp. Tables for dining were arranged nicely which are covered with linen cloth which has Japanese tapestry. On every table kept bunch of roses in a flower pot. The sound of melody music of piano is herd, though room looked perfectly romantic only few customers are seen.  In the middle of room around one of dining table on Louis side chair sat Mr.Gilbreth and Miss.Margret opposite to each other.]
Miss.Margret: I am afraid I have no words to tell you.
Mr.Gilbreth: Well, in that case you may leave.
Miss.Margret: I hope you won’t mind?
Mr.Gilbreth: Why should I? To mind anything one must get irritated Miss.Margret as I am not irritated I won’t mind anything.
(Margret looking disappointingly at Gillberth and with sudden curiosity asks)
Miss.Margret: Am I looking charming?
Mr.Gilbreth: Certainly you are Miss.Margret and you will be punished for that.
Miss.Margret: That’s the most absurd thing I ever herd.
Mr.Gilbreth: Don’t you know charming women are the most disturbed one.
Miss.Margret: I don’t get it Mr.Gilbreth but I am not disturbed.
Mr.Gilbreth: Well, that’s may be you are a social butterfly.
Miss.Margret: I hope so, and that’s only thing which keeps me exulted.
Mr.Gilbreth: Now tell me Miss.Margret do you booze?
Miss.Margret: I am, that’s very enjoyable.
Mr.Gilbreth: People rarely do it for enjoyment. Most people do it to leave it but they never. I am very glad that you are in rare people as for as me, I want to leave it. I drank every time thinking it was my last, unfortunately that last never lasted long.  Now I am thinking men like me should not quit it.
(Saying this Gilbreth calls the waiter) (Waiter comes in)
Waiter: How can I help you, sir?
Mr.Gilbreth: Can I get a bottle of champagne?
Waiter: I am afraid sir, today is dry day.
Mr.Gilbreth: Ah! I see, that’s why room is quite silent. Thank you.
(Waiter goes out)
Mr.Gilbreth: I am sorry for you Margret very sorry for you.
Miss.Margret: It is okay, after all it’s not in your hand, its government rule we can’t do anything.
Mr.Gilbreth: “Rule” I hate this word. It makes me so uncivilized.
Miss.Margret: Do you love politics?
Mr.Gilbreth: Not in the smallest degree. You see, now days in politics it has become very fashionable to flirt till one is sixty or to be romantic till one is sixty five. We poor men who are philanthropist hate that.
Miss.Margret: A political life is noble career.
Mr.Gilbreth: Sometimes and sometimes its clever game, and sometimes it’s a great nuisance.
Miss.Margret: How about love Mr.Gilbreth do you think to be in love or to being loved by is also great nuisance?
Mr.Gilbreth: I don’t know because love is rarely pure never simple. Though I see holiness in love, it’s a dangerous thing. In this modern era it has become quite fashionable to love dangerous thing.
Miss.Margret: For me, to love someone is tedious thing, and to being loved by someone is more than that. So I choose the first one.
Mr.Gilbreth: You are very clever Miss.Margret.
Miss.Margret: I have to tell you very important thing, that’s the reason I asked you to come here.
Mr.Gilbreth: If I remember, you had no words to tell me.
Miss.Margret: I do have no words to tell you only I can express it.
Mr.Gilbreth: Then, what’s it?
(Margret takes one of the roses from pot and hands it to Gilbreth)
Miss.Margret: I love you Mr.Gilbreth I love you all my heart. I love the way you talk you are a master of wit. I hope you will become my ideal husband.
Mr.Gilbreth: An ideal husband! Oh, I don’t think I should like that. It sounds like something in the next world. Besides its terrible Propose I ever saw.
Miss.Margret: You can choose whatever you want, all I want to be… to be… oh! Your real wife
Mr.Gilbreth: And you will be my only wife.
Miss.Margret: This is very kind of you Mr.Gilbreth you are an ideal husband.
Mr.Gilbreth: Now tell me is it love you feel for me, or is it pity merely.
Miss.Margret: Its love only love, pure love.
(Gilbreth taking Margret’s hand, kisses gently and says)
Mr.Gilbreth: For both of us a new life is beginning.
