"Haider" Movie Review

"Haider" an adoption of Shakespeare's famous play "Hamlet" is a family-relationship movie. Hamlet's complicated story is nicely portrayed to suit the present generation.

Setting the backdrop of 1995, director cleverly used the Kashmir conflict situation to tell the story. Movie is more like an artistic expression of human feelings rather than just any other family-drama movies. It sems that dirctor ensured himself to make audience to think about movie's characters and their interlinked relationship even after coming out of the theater and he succeeded in that.

Shahid's and Tabu's performance is wonderful (especially, Shahid's acting in second part is sensational). Shraddha's acting is 'okay'. And menon's acting is 'above-okay'. Not to mention about Irrfan's acting.Though all the characters of movie are equally important, at the end mainly Shahid's role, Tabu's role and Menon's role will swirl in your head.

Coming to it's flaws, yeah, we can say that movie is not suitable for everyone. (Some may find movie is not a entertaining one)

Go for this movie if you're a fan of artistic-movies or Shakespeare's plays.

P.S: Certainly we have to appreciate the director's chutzpah for modernizing Shakespeare's plays without altering the main story plot.
P.P.S: Movie is not really made for entertainment purpose.
